I have no background in computer science. Is it possible for me to join CAIR-Nepal?
Yes, it is possible for individuals without a background in computer science to join CAIR-Nepal, as the organization also conducts multidisciplinary research. However, these opportunities will be limited because the CAIR-Nepal's primary focus is on computer science research. To learn more about our research focus, please visit our Research areas.
I see courses; does this imply that CAIR-Nepal offers a degree?
CAIR-Nepal does not grant degrees. As part of CAIR-Nepal's commitment to education, these courses have been developed and are consistent with CAIR-Nepal's research themes.

I have no prior experience conducting research. I am, however, interested in research. Can I still join CAIR-Nepal?
Although prior research experience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for joining CAIR-Nepal. Nevertheless, you must possess specific qualifications and meet the requirements for the positions you are applying for.
Do I need to be a citizen/resident of Nepal to join CAIR-Nepal?
No, neither citizenship nor residency in Nepal is required. Membership in CAIR-Nepal is open to anyone who meets the criteria. In the event of equal merit, however, natives would be given priority.
